IIW: Kamigawa-style transform Sagas
Votes: LandellXil0cent (I love this design), Zorothegallade (really cool way to represent the concept of "Lust"!)@netn10ShowHideIt's interesting to compare Legacy and Sainthood: I had the idea originally for a "History: Middle Ages" kind of set, so a classic top-down design. In this case, that limits its design space severely, and it's rather wordy, but I really like the flavor. Your mechanic is much sleeker in comparison and a good example for a really well made bottom-up design.
It just struck me how well the cards can show different approaches to design with a similar but distinct outcome and wanted to share that. I hope you excuse my ramblingWilliam Defeats Harold
IIW: punish the monarch
Enchantment — Saga (M)
(As this saga enters and after your draw step, add a lore counter. Sacrifice after III.)

II: Whenever a creature you control attacks the monarch this turn, that creature gets +1/+1 and gains first strike until your next turn. Untap it.
III: If you're the monarch, draw a card, then gain control of target land for as long as you're the monarch.
